Announcing the cast of our staged reading of Lady Lazarus

Ghostlight is also excited to announce the cast of our staged reading of a new play by Haley Basil, Lady Lazarus.

The cast is: Alice Wu (Callie), Hannah Rhode (Gia), Ebby Offord (Alexandria), Wisterman (Leita/Josh) and Jason Pavlovich (Zach) with Isabella La Bove reading stage directions.

Callie is stuck. She can’t finish her book, can’t pay rent and can’t seem to get over her ex. And oops! She may have just killed him. So, Callie and her best friend Gia (who maybe is in love with her) go on the run with Callie’s literary agent and a lady cop chasing behind. Can Callie outrun them and her past?  

Ghostlight will present a staged reading directed by Jessica Love of this new work that is in development at 7 p.m. on Sunday March 22, at Mrs. Murphy & Sons Irish Bistro (3905 N Lincoln Ave, Chicago, IL 60613).
