For Ghostlight she has directed Six Characters in Search of an Author and Krampus! as well as writing and directing The Princess Without Pots and The Selfish Giant, among other company endeavors. This summer you can see her short play, Guardian of the House (Τόπακας) as part of Ghostlight’s Make/Believe young audiences series. Special thanks to her husband, Chad, who is her best editor and her biggest fan.

Norman J. Burt

Addicted to a room full of laughter, Norm Burt [he/him] (Mazaret) can usually be found in a crowd somewhere discovering how far a single story can take a conversation.  Prior to studying Theater Performance at Winthrop University, film at the Second City Film School and improv throughout various institutions in Chicago, Norm spent most of his childhood traversing the U.S., due to his mother’s job in the armed forces. In 2018, Norm found an artistic home in Ghostlight Ensemble Theatre, with some of his favorite credits including Six Characters in Search of an Author and Picasso at Lapin Agile. However, Norm’s dream role will always be Tiny Tim in a production of A Christmas Carol to a completely unaware audience.

Until then, he is truly grateful to be able to perform with such a talented group of creatives.

We're talking Bob Fosse choreography, Jimi Hendrix guitars, and the hottest cast in the city of Chicago. But when the show's producer cuts out with the cash, Dwayne decides to produce the show himself, putting his marriage and his meager finances at risk. What could go wrong?
